Just Clip, Blend and Go: The Install in Three Steps
Because it really is that simple:
Step 1: Prep your natural hair. Braid back the sections that will sit under the wig, or smooth them back depending on your texture and preference. Leave some of your front section out, this is what you'll blend with the half wig. A good reference guide would be enough hair that can cover the end of a rat tail comb (so that you can’t see it). If you want the option to tie your hair up, leave some hair out at the nape and sides too, just not too much that you have too much leave out to blend.
Step 2: Clip in. Secure the four clips. Front, back, and sides. Adjust the drawstring until the fit feels comfortable and secure. The wig should feel like part of you, not sitting on top of you. After all, nobody would be able to tell it didn’t grow from your own scalp!
Step 3: Blend and go. Use a curly hair brush to blend your natural front section into the half wig. If your natural texture isn't a direct match to the half wig texture, a wand curler or other heat tools can help you blend the two seamlessly. Spritz the curls with water, apply your product, define, scrunch and diffuse, make it yours. Then go live your life.

Is a Half Wig Worth It?
Here's the honest answer: if you value your time, your edges, your independence, and your hair, then yes. Completely.
